We are pleased to announce that RENEWPORT has been included among the projects showcased in the Green & Smart Ports Booklet, a publication developed within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR), with specific reference to Pillar 2 – Transport.
The booklet offers a clear and accessible overview of how Interreg programmes across the Adriatic-Ionian Region are working to integrate the Green and Smart Ports priority into concrete cooperation initiatives. It highlights the essential role of ports as engines of sustainable mobility and innovation, and showcases projects—such as RENEWPORT—that are driving progress toward cleaner, smarter, and more efficient port systems. Positioned within the broader Embedding process, the document illustrates how EUSAIR strategic objectives are being translated into real actions, supported by existing European, national, and regional funding sources. Produced with the support of the StEP project (Interreg IPA ADRION), the booklet also underlines the importance of continuous monitoring to strengthen the implementation of the EUSAIR Action Plan.
