RENEWPORT Project partners are already working on the first Project deliverables and outputs!
In fact, an online operational meeting was held on April 10, 2024 with the aim of aligning data regarding the current situations of the different ports related to renewable energy, e.g. applied RES and best practices. In this framework, the methodology for the preparation of the RENEWPORT toolkit was also agreed upon.
The toolkit will comprise practical advice, guidance and information on RES production for MED ports. Also, based on the port’s energy needs, it will calculate how much renewable energy, of which type (e.g. solar, wind) and potential application (e.g. green hydrogen) a MED port could generate.
