On 16 June 2026, the RENEWPORT partnership gathered in Piombino, hosted by the North Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority, for the 6th Project Steering Committee Meeting.
The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to review the progress achieved so far and discuss the next steps towards the successful completion of project activities. Particular attention was devoted to the implementation of pilot actions testing renewable energy solutions in Mediterranean ports, the transferability and long-term uptake of project results, as well as communication, dissemination, and project management activities.
The Steering Committee also served as a valuable occasion for partners to exchange experiences, strengthen cooperation, and align efforts in support of the green energy transition of Mediterranean ports.
The partnership will continue working closely in the coming months, with several key project milestones and events scheduled before the project’s conclusion.
