On 11 June 2026, the RENEWPORT project was presented at the Foro de las Ciudades 2026, held at IFEMA Madrid within the framework of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, under the Green Living Areas Mission.
Represented by Fundación Valenciaport, RENEWPORT took part in the thematic session dedicated to Energy Transition and Urban Infrastructures, showcasing its approach to renewable energy planning for ports and its contribution to the sustainable transition of port areas.
The event brought together European projects, public authorities, urban networks, and experts to exchange experiences and promote innovative solutions addressing key urban challenges, including climate adaptation, energy transition, sustainable mobility, and resilient infrastructure.
The participation of RENEWPORT provided an opportunity to increase the visibility of the project, share its objectives and expected results with a wider audience, and explore synergies with other European initiatives working towards greener and more sustainable Mediterranean territories.
